My name is Soraya Gliniecki. I started working in childcare in 2017 at a daycare center as an infant room associate. After a few months I was promoted to lead teacher and obtained my CDA in infant/toddler care. I stayed as the teacher with that group of children until they were three years old and then started back over in the infant room. During this time, I obtained training/education for a Preschool CDA. In 2021, I was promoted to program supervisor where I oversaw all the classrooms and mentoring of the teachers.
After the birth of my first daughter in 2022, I wanted to spend more time with her and started missing the classroom. My husband encouraged me to leave the center and start an at home daycare, and Creative Minds Learning Place was born.
Our in-home childcare program offers a play-based approach that incorporates HighScope curriculum. This combination provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Through engaging activities tailored to their interests, children are encouraged to explore, discover, and actively participate in their learning journey. The HighScope curriculum further enriches their experiences by promoting hands-on learning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. In this program, children are supported in developing a strong foundation for both academic and social-emotional growth, ensuring a well-rounded and enriching childcare experience.
